Amrita Goswamy, is a Graduate Research Assistant in the field of Transportation Safety. She has experience in transportation data analysis, data collection, integration and statistical modeling, data visualization and big data analysis using statistical software R. Her skills include, driver behavior and time series analysis, statistical model performance analysis, crash data analysis, calculation of CMFs and SPFs, cross sectional and empirical Bayes before after analysis and utilization of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). She has worked in several projects involving calculation of crash modification factors, safety analysis through cross sectional and before after empirical Bayes studies. Her current project evaluates driver behavior and speed at work zones using naturalistic study data. She will be graduating in summer 2019 and will be open to full time offers.
